2014 - 2015 promises to be twice as good.
Firstly let’s say thanks to our hardworking and ever ready Presi Orleen, and the Executive Team. They made our job as coaches, swimmers and parents easier. They helped us achieve our goals with their organization, willingness and determination. This year they are more committed and motivated to have a great year for our swimmers. Thanks to the Tornadoes Coaches who continue to strive to develop excellent athletes and individuals. We are determined to make the Tornadoes Swim Club the best club in the Caribbean, and our swimmers National Record holders. Parent involvement is very important to the success of the club. Play your part by volunteering at meets, helping at breakfast morning, carpooling for trips, bringing your swimmers to training on time, and supporting our coaches. To our swimmers, congratulations!!! On your performance at meets, at training, at our social events, you did us proud. Whether you did a personal best at every meet, or just once, you did GREAT. Your commitment and perseverance helped us the TORNADOES be the BEST CLUB ! Keep up the good work. We are so proud of our swimmers and coaches who represented Jamaica and the Tornadoes at Carifta, CISC, the Commonwealth Games, World Youth Games, and in Orlando. A special mention to our student athletes who excelled at GSAT, CAPE/CSEC. Our Masters - we love you, so proud of the fact that you are committed to the sport of swimming in this busy world. You continue to set the standards for other clubs to start their masters program. ALL TORNADOES SWIMMERS from 0 - 99 years old - YOU ROCK!!! Parents, the coaches cannot thank you enough for your continued support in the so many ways that you help make Tornadoes # 1. Thanks and congratulations to our Master’s swimmers Pam Anglin and Horace Anderson who volunteered as coaches and have done a great job so far. Through their summer program three swimmers are ready to be incorporated into Tornadoes. We will send out more information about this program as we still seek financial support, as well as, other support in the way of swimsuits and equipment.
