The residents who offer "Therapeutic Spa Services" in this setting claim that “IT CURES EVERYTHING INCLUDING BAD MIND, KRASSES AND SALTNESS”.

It was by sheer fate that I experienced this adventure which has aroused the curiosity of locals and foreigners alike. On the day in question, a bright and sunny April morning in 2015, I started out by trying to make a reservation at the Rockfort Mineral Spa in Eastern Kingston, only to find out that the private baths were closed for renovation but the public pool was in operation.
I then decided to make my day more adventurous and journeyed easterly from Kingston to St Thomas hoping to 'hol' a mineral fresh at the popular spot by the side of the main road in Roselle which is between White Horses and Morant Bay where mineral water usually pitched from the embankment rock. Once again my hopes were dashed as the water here had dried up due to the drought, so I journeyed deeper into rural St Thomas to the Bath village to check out the Mineral Spa.
